Ratty Ron's T&T Solo Adventure Booster

Well, what do you think?  Too powerful?  I'm going to try it out at least and see.  If you consider that balance isn't exactly a thing in this system (gotta love it!), I don't see any problems.

Looking good to me. The misfortune that Wulfus met with shows that balance isn't really a thing, especially in the early solos. There are plenty of things in Buffalo Castle that could have finished him off even with an advancement. One of beauties of T&T is that you can roll up new characters very quickly; you can add as much "chrome" as you like, but you don't have to.

Pondering Wulfus' demise reminded me of reading some criticism of T&T, decades ago I think it was, that you can estimate pretty quickly whether you are likely to lose a combat. dT&T makes that slightly more complicated but the basic idea still holds. The reviewer thought it was a bad thing, but I'm not so sure. The ability to evaluate a combat and make adjustments on the fly is helpful, I feel. I don't mind losing characters, but it's nice to feel I was in with a chance.

I agree! One might embrace the unbalance, but sometimes one might value the estimation too. It's funny, most of the criticisms I've read over the years on T&T, I actually see as pluses in this game. Guess I'm wired different.

Thanks for looking over my "booster" page too! I'm gonna try 'er out.
